Francis X Walsh
Founding Partner WPG Consulting
Frank has always prided himself on being able to recognize client needs and deliver proven solutions. It is for this reason that he and Hitesh formed WPG Consulting. “We have a keen understanding that there is an increasing gap in technical resources in both client and VAR ecosystems” says Mr. Walsh. WPG’s core focus is to bridge this gap by providing expert level, best in breed, engineering talent across multiple technologies and platforms.
A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester Massachusetts Frank began his business career in finance. He achieved success as an equity and index options trader at Wall Street powerhouse Drexel Burnham Lambert. After stints on the American Stock Exchange and trading desks at corporate headquarters he became one of the youngest Vice Presidents in the firm and ultimately ran trading operations on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.
After leaving Drexel his career turned towards the growing Telecommunications industry. After several years with industry consulting firm Centex Tele-management Frank partnered with several associates and formed Business Communications Management (BCM) a successful communications consulting practice based in mid-town Manhattan. Expanding on the success of BCM, Frank and his partners founded McGraw Communications, one of the first Competitive Local Exchange Carriers in the New York Metro region. Both organizations are thriving and continuing to achieve new levels of success.
As a founding partner of WPG Consulting, Frank takes pride in what the company’s short-term goals and long-term growth: “Our mission is to continually challenge ourselves, our people, and our partners to be smarter, more efficient and ultimately to win our clients respect and loyalty each and every single day.”
